## How billing works

- 14-day free trial on every plan. No credit card required to start.
- Billed monthly in USD. No annual lock-in and no setup fee.
- Unlimited shipments on every plan. You are never charged per document.
- The value metric is the plan tier, not usage. A busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
- Change plans in either direction at any time, from your account.
- Your shipment data stays exportable if you leave, including during the trial.

## What every plan includes

- All four export documents from one shipment record: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and bill of lading.
- Fields entered once, so the shipper, consignee, HS codes, weights, and values cannot disagree across pages. That mismatch is what holds containers.
- HS code lookup by plain product description, instead of paging through PDF tariff schedules.
- Document status tracking from draft to sent to cleared, so you know what is holding up a shipment.
- Free, unauthenticated read-only API access (see /developers). Not gated by plan.

## What is not included on any plan

- Customs brokerage or freight forwarding. This product prepares documents; it does not file entries, book freight, or act as your agent.
- Filing Electronic Export Information in AES on your behalf. The filing is made by you or your broker in AESDirect.
- Classification or licence determinations. HS results are candidates; the determination stays with you or your broker.
