I write the field notes for ExportDocsHub, export documentation software for small importers and exporters. Enter a shipment once and generate the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and bill of lading, then track each one to cleared.
The field notes live on the blog. I'm not a customs broker and I don't pretend to be one. What you'll find here are practical notes on export documentation with real small-exporter customers in the loop: what the documents require, where the errors actually happen, and what it takes to get shipments through. When a broker or a customer tells me I got something wrong, I update the post.
